Legal & Policy

Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Quzo AI (the "Service"). By creating an account or running an assessment on the Service, you agree to them.

Effective date: May 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing Quzo AI at xtendai.expresstech.io or running an assessment through xtendxm.expresstech.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

If you accept these Terms on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so and that the organisation is bound by them.

2. About the service

Quzo AI is a web-based assessment platform that lets you build forms and assessments with AI assistance, deliver them to candidates, and review the results. Features typically include:

  • AI-assisted question generation
  • A form builder with multiple question types
  • Assessment delivery via shareable links or invitations
  • Configurable proctoring signals (such as tab-switch and fullscreen tracking, copy/paste blocking, and optional camera snapshots)
  • Scoring rules including weights, negative marking, and partial credit
  • Team workspaces with role-based permissions
  • Real-time response and activity dashboards

We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. Material changes are communicated in advance where reasonable.

3. Accounts

To use most features of the Service you need an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Please notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Plans and billing

Quzo AI offers a Free plan and one or more paid subscription plans. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring basis until cancellation.

Each plan includes a set of usage allowances that may reset at the start of every billing cycle. The current details for each plan are listed on our pricing page. Refund and cancellation terms are covered separately in our Refund Policy.

5. AI generation

When you ask Quzo AI to generate questions or other assessment content, your prompt is processed by an AI provider and the generated output is returned for your review.

AI output is generated automatically and can contain mistakes or out-of-date information. You are responsible for reviewing every question, answer, and explanation before publishing an assessment.

You agree not to submit illegal content, third-party personal data you don't have the right to use, or material designed to extract sensitive information from candidates without their informed consent.

6. Your content and ownership

You own the forms, questions, and responses you create on Quzo AI. We claim no ownership over your content. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to host, process, display, and transmit your content as needed to operate the Service for you — for example, to deliver an assessment to a candidate or store a response.

For AI-generated output specifically, you own the result to the extent permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for ensuring that the output is fit for the purpose you put it to.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any law
  • Attempt to bypass proctoring, rate limits, quotas, or other security controls
  • Probe, scan, or stress-test the Service except with our prior written consent
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or wrap the Service for unrelated third parties without a written agreement
  • Upload malicious code, spam, or content intended to harass, defame, or harm others
  • Use AI features to produce content that targets minors, generates malware, facilitates self-harm, or otherwise violates applicable law
  • Misrepresent your identity, your organisation, or your authority to administer an assessment

8. Candidates and data you collect

If you use Quzo AI to assess third parties such as employees, candidates, or students, you remain the controller of that data. You are responsible for:

  • Giving candidates clear notice that the assessment is being recorded or proctored, and obtaining any consents required in your jurisdiction
  • Enabling only the proctoring signals appropriate for the assessment in question
  • Honouring data-subject requests from your candidates — we will support you, but you direct the response
  • Following any sector-specific regulations (such as education, employment, or healthcare) that apply to your use

9. Intellectual property

The Service itself — the Quzo AI software, brand, interface, and original content — is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of the Service to you.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, and unforeseen incidents may cause downtime. We will communicate planned maintenance in advance where practical.

11. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quzo AI disclaims all warranties — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content may contain errors; you must review it before relying on it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quzo AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your usage threatens the Service's integrity, or as required by law. We'll give you reasonable notice where the circumstances allow it.

On termination, your access to paid features ends. You can request export of your data for a reasonable period afterwards (see the Privacy Policy retention section).

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make a material change we will update the "Effective date" at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
